The Peace & Conflict Studies (PCS) major consists of 34 credit hours of course work. A student must earn a “C” or better for all of the major requirements. The program will consider a maximum of 3 transfer courses (9 credit hours) to apply toward the major requirements. All other major requirements must be completed at the University of Utah. This major is interdisciplinary and we draw from many different departments and programs to create this major. Only 3 courses (9 credit hours) from a single department or program may apply to the PCS major requirements.
Students must pass all minor requirements with a “C” or better. A maximum of 2 transfer courses (6 credit hours) may be considered for the minor. The remaining minor requirements must be from the University of Utah. This minor is interdisciplinary and we draw from many different departments and programs to create this minor. Only 2 courses (6 credit hours) from a single department or program may apply to the PCS minor requirements.
